 INTRO

This is the summary of first part of the great Blender Donut Series by Andrew Price.

The Basics 

The big screen in which you will be working 90% of the time is called the 3d viewport.




Moving Objects in the 3d Viewport

By selecting the object and using the move tool you can move objects in blender.

Rotate and Scale

To rotate objects, activate Rotate mode by pressing R KEY.

Pressing S will enter the Scale transformation mode where the selected element is scaled inward or outward according to the mouse pointer's location.

Orbiting

You can orbit in blender by clicking and dragging the center mouse button

Scaling the Interface


Hover the cursor over one of the panels and hit Numpad + or Numpad - keys on the keyboard to change the size of the font and UI elements.
